Next stop: Sea bathing until evening in a quiet cove cradled by a capeAbout this spot
A coastline continuing from Tateishi Park, an area of spreading rocks and tide pools. At low tide you can sometimes observe small crabs, shellfish and other creatures, offering sea play quite different from bathing on a sandy beach. It is a spot you can stop at on the way to Chojagasaki · Ohama Swimming Beach, just right for family rock-pool exploring.
Tips
The rocks are slippery, so visit in comfortable shoes. It is good to tell children to gently return creatures to where they found them after observing. Stopping by around 11:00 a.m. before sea bathing keeps the day flowing smoothly.
Best time to visit
About 50 minutes. The hours around low tide suit observation
