Sea bathing until evening in the cove of Aburatsubo

About this spot

A cove-shaped swimming beach in the Aburatsubo area of the Miura Peninsula. In 2026 it is open from Friday, July 17 to Monday, August 31, with swimming hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Being enclosed by the cove, the waves are calm, so families with small children can enjoy water play with confidence. The water is also relatively clear, and the appeal is spending an unhurried time enjoying the sea views. Beach huts line the sand, offering meals, rest and showers.
