This lighthouse stands at the tip of a cape on the eastern coast of the Miura Peninsula, with an unobstructed ocean view spreading out around it. The road to the cape passes through peaceful farmland scenery, and near the lighthouse you can take in a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Simply walking here while feeling the sea breeze before swimming makes for a pleasant moment.
Tips
Accessible on foot from the nearest bus stop. The inside of the lighthouse may not be open to the public, so focus on enjoying the surrounding walk. The summer sun is strong, so don't forget a hat and to stay hydrated.
Best time to visit
About 50 minutes needed. The calm morning hours are good for a stroll.
