A lighthouse standing at the tip of a cape on the eastern shore of the Miura Peninsula, with unobstructed sea views all around. The road to the cape passes through peaceful fields, and from beside the lighthouse you can take in the Pacific Ocean at a glance. Simply walking here in the sea breeze before sea bathing makes for a pleasant interlude.

三浦市初声町和田に広がる海水浴場で、落ち着いた雰囲気の砂浜が魅力です。2026年は7月3日(金)から8月31日(月)まで開設され、遊泳時間は8時から17時までとなっています。比較的静かなビーチなので、小さな子ども連れでも周りを気にせずのんびり水遊びを楽しめます。砂浜には海の家が立ち並び、食事や休憩、シャワーも利用できます。波打ち際の水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。

Tips

バスまたは車でのアクセスが便利です。遊泳は無料で、海の家の休憩やシャワーは有料です。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダル必携。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間も見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。

Tips

It can be reached on foot from the nearest bus stop. The interior of the lighthouse may not be open, so make the surrounding stroll the main focus. The sun is strong in summer, so do not forget a hat and plenty to drink.
