About this spot
Standing at the tip of a cape facing the Enshu Sea, Omaezaki Lighthouse is one of the Tokai region's representative lighthouses, its white form standing out against the blue sea and sky. The observation deck offers a sweeping view of the Pacific, and on clear days Mt. Fuji (富士山) can sometimes be seen. Walking paths are maintained around the lighthouse, so families can stroll at a relaxed pace while feeling the sea breeze. It is a viewpoint perfect for the start of the day, letting you take in the expanse of the sea you are about to swim in.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Marine Park Omaezaki Beach. As it is a lighthouse open to visitors, a separate admission fee is required to climb to the observation deck. It is reassuring to check opening hours and fees in official information in advance.

About 45 minutes. The cool morning hours give clear scenery and a pleasant visit
