Koganezaki Park takes its name from the way the rock faces shine golden when lit by the setting sun, and it is a scenic spot representative of West Izu. Walking paths are maintained, so you can enjoy the contrast of sheer cliffs and highly transparent water up close. The park has some elevation changes but is well maintained and easy to walk, and a stroll while feeling the sea breeze makes a pleasant warm-up before sea bathing. On clear days the blue of the sea is especially beautiful, and it is popular as a photogenic spot.

西伊豆町田子にある田子瀬浜海水浴場は、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月23日(日)まで開設される、入り江に抱かれた波の穏やかな海水浴場です。かつお節の産地として知られる漁師町・田子の海は透明度が高く、有名ビーチに比べて落ち着いた雰囲気の中でのんびり過ごせます。午前の景勝地めぐりを終えたら、いよいよこの海がクライマックス。波打ち際の水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで思いきり西伊豆の海を満喫しましょう。

Tips

設備の詳細は事前に西伊豆町の公式情報で確認するのがおすすめです。夏の砂浜は熱くなるので、ビーチサンダルは必携です。帰り支度の時間も見込んで、余裕を持って切り上げましょう。

About 10 minutes by car from Tago Sehama Beach. Parts of the walking path have ups and downs, so easy-to-walk shoes are recommended. In summer, do not forget a hat and drinks to guard against the sun.
