A temple in Nakaichi, Kudamatsu City, long loved as a center of Myoken faith. The legend that a star came down here and its light settled in a pine tree is said to be the origin of the place name Kudamatsu, making this a place where you can touch the very beginning of the town's name. The grounds are quiet and easy to walk, so even families with small children can finish their visit in a short time. Simply teaching how to use the purification basin and how to bow makes it a learning experience for a child. Although it is in the middle of town, the air feels different here, which suits the start of a day.

Tips

Check the visiting hours and the hours of the amulet office on the signs at the site. There is gravel and there are stone steps in the grounds, so comfortable shoes are reassuring. Remind children not to run in the grounds so as not to disturb other visitors. Parking space is limited, so watch the traffic around the area as you arrive.
