The Odai Park Fureai Family Plaza Fountain Area is a free water-play spot in Odai Park, Higashiura Town (東浦町). It sits in a corner of the Fureai Family Plaza, which opened on April 18, 2026, and can be used from Friday, May 1 to Wednesday, September 30, between 10:00 and 16:00. Right beside it is an artificial turf plaza covered by a domed roof, plus play equipment for infants and toddlers, so the strength of this place is being able to move back and forth: tired of the water, play in the shade; cooled down, back to the water. Adjacent changing rooms are available, so there is no trouble finding somewhere to change, which families appreciate. Since it is free, you can also simply drop in for a short while.

Tips

The operating season and hours may change, and the fountain stops automatically in rain or strong wind. Check the day's operating status on the Higashiura Town official website before you set out. Operation ends at 16:00, so counting back for packing up and changing, getting out of the water around 15:30 lets you head home unhurried. After water play, rinse off well and take breaks in the shade to prevent heatstroke. Children still in diapers should wear swim diapers.
