Horiuchi Park (堀内公園)

About this spot

Run by Anjo City, this park is equipped much like a small amusement park. A modest Ferris wheel, a merry-go-round, go-karts and more stand side by side, on a scale you can enjoy without bracing yourself the way you would at a big theme park. Entry itself is casual, and since you pay for each ride, you can play for just a short while to match your child's stamina. The farmland scenery of Anjo seen from the Ferris wheel overlaps with the story of how the land was formed that you learned at the museum in the morning. There are also lawns and playground plazas, so you can have a full visit even without riding anything.

Venue: 安城市・安城産業文化公園デンパーク

安城市の安城産業文化公園デンパークにある水遊び場、「安城産業文化公園デンパークジャブジャブ池」です。2026年は7月18日(土)から8月31日(月)まで、10:00〜16:00で楽しめます(夜間営業日は16:30まで)。ジャブジャブ池にはスプラッシュキャノンとびっくりバケツがあり、スプラッシュキャノンは約30分に1回稼働するので、時間を合わせて構えていると大きな水しぶきを浴びられます。バブルマシーンの泡タイムは11:00・13:00・15:00の3回で、園内には水のステージも用意されています。水遊びは入園料だけで楽しめ、大人700円・小中学生300円・小学生未満無料・65歳以上560円。花と緑に囲まれた広い公園なので、水に飽きたら園内を散歩したり、木陰で休んだりと過ごし方を変えられます。

Tips

泡タイムは別途1人500円が必要で、3歳以下は無料です。雨天のときは泡タイムが中止になります。入園してから園内で昼食をとれば、着替えや荷物の置き場所を確保したうえで水遊びに移れます。16:00で水遊びが終わるので、片付けと着替えの時間を逆算して15時半ごろには上がると落ち着いて帰れます。水遊び後は体をよく流し、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊ぶと熱中症を防げます。おむつが取れていない子には水遊び用おむつを用意してください。

Tips

Check ride fees and closing days on the official website in advance. Waiting outdoors in the summer daytime gets hot, so do not forget hats and drinks. You will want to save energy for the water play at Denpark, so wrapping up here on the shorter side is recommended.
