About this spot

This city-run park near the Meguro River (目黒川) has flower beds and a community farming area. Plots planted with seasonal flowers and rows of fruit trees give it a stronger sense of soil and greenery than most parks in central Tokyo (東京). The Flower and Greenery Learning Center inside the park holds exhibits and classes about plants, and makes an easy indoor stop to cool down. The balance of lawn and trees is good, and the size is just right for spreading a sheet in the shade and eating your lunch. Nakacho Seseragi Green Park is within walking distance.

中町せせらぎ緑地公園じゃぶじゃぶ池・流れは、目黒区の中町せせらぎ緑地公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年の稼働期間は7/1(水)から9/30(水)まで、時間は9:00〜16:30で、区の公式表記は「7月第1週から9月末頃まで」となっています。水は塩素等で消毒管理されているので安心して足を入れられます。名前のとおり細長い緑地に沿ってせせらぎが続く形で、水深が浅く、歩きはじめの小さな子どもでも自分の足で歩けます。住宅街の中にある地域密着型の水遊び場で、大きな施設のような混雑がないのも家族連れにはうれしいところです。料金は無料なので、天気を見て気軽に出かけられます。

Tips

月1回ほど点検日があり、その日は利用できません。点検日時は現地に掲示されるため、出発前に区の公式ページで開設状況を確認してください。飲食物の持込とペットの入水はできません。水遊び用サンダルの着用が推奨されているので、かかとの留まるタイプを用意しましょう。日陰は限られるので、休憩用の大きめのタオルや帽子を忘れずに。

Tips

Picking up lunch boxes around Nakameguro Station (中目黒駅) before you head over makes things smooth. Rubbish must be taken home as a rule, so bring a bag. The Flower and Greenery Learning Center has set opening hours, so check the official information if you plan to stop in. Avoid entering the water right after eating; resting for 20 to 30 minutes before changing is safer.
