About this spot

This beloved local park spreads across a hilltop overlooking the Shin-Nanyo area. Also known as a cherry blossom spot, in summer it offers a cool evening escape among lush trees. Since it's near the fireworks venue, from evening onward many families gather here, spreading out sheets and having dinner while waiting for the show to begin. Spend a relaxed time watching the sky darken as evening falls.

Tips

About a 15-minute drive from Toiwa Hachimangu Shrine. On the day of the summer festival, the parking lot gets crowded, so arriving early is recommended. It's reassuring to get drinks and snacks beforehand.

About 3 hours 15 minutes. You can relax here from dusk until just before the fireworks begin
