Tsuru Citizens' Pool (Sun Sports Land Tsuru) is an outdoor pool in Tsuru City, open in 2026 from Saturday, July 18 to Wednesday, August 26. Located just south of Tsuru University, it consists of a 5-lane 25-meter pool and a beginner's pool. The 25-meter pool is perfect for practicing swimming, while the beginner's pool lets children who aren't yet used to the water go at their own pace. Admission is 310 yen for residents, and residents of Otsuki City and Tsuru City are eligible for the resident rate. Located in a basin town surrounded by mountains, the breeze that blows once you step out of the water feels pleasant, making it comfortable to spend time here even in the height of summer. It's a classic summer-vacation spot for local children.
