Nukui Swimming Pool is an outdoor pool in Akiota Town, open from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31 in 2026. Located in the mountains of the Chugoku range, close to Nukui Dam, its biggest feature is the cool breeze that blows through the valley, making it more comfortable than the lowlands even at the height of summer. It's a spot local children attend during summer break, and since it's never too crowded, families can enjoy a relaxed pace of their own. Being surrounded by deep greenery is, in itself, this place's greatest appeal. It offers a quiet summer atmosphere completely different from a large urban pool.
