Wakuno Central Park Pool is an outdoor park pool at Wakuno Central Park in Tsuruga City. In 2026, it's open from Tuesday, July 21 to Wednesday, August 26, running in two sessions: morning from 10:00 AM to noon, and afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It has two depth levels, 30cm and 60cm, so small children can play in the shallower side and slightly older children in the deeper side, each at their own pace. Since it's free to use, you can head out on a whim any day, and being able to come back again and again over summer vacation is a big appeal. Located within the park, there's plenty of ways to spend your time -- resting in the shade when tired of playing, or moving over to the playground equipment.
