Located directly across from the torii gate of Kumano Hongu Grand Shrine, along National Route 168—free admission. It's just minutes from the "Hongu Taisha-mae" bus stop. The tourist information desk is perfect for confirming bus schedules to the Yunomine (湯の峰) and Kawayū (川湯) areas in the afternoon. The facility is barrier-free with freely accessible restrooms and rest areas.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour. Visit shortly before noon after your shrine visit, relax in the cool space, and review Kumano's history.
