The Kenny's Family Village Natural Pool in the Naguri River (ケニーズ・ファミリー・ビレッジ 名栗川の天然プール) is a natural pool created by damming the Naguri River, which flows through the grounds of Kenny's Family Village Auto Campground (ケニーズ・ファミリー・ビレッジ／オートキャンプ場) in Hanno, Saitama, during the summer. In 2026 it opens on July 18 and runs from around the Marine Day holiday in July through roughly the second week of September (river play itself is available year-round). The water clarity is extremely high, clear enough that you can see small fish swimming when you look in. With a gentle current and shallow depth, it also gives a sense of security as a place for young children's first river play. There's a management building and reception, and staff certified as Japan Auto Camping Federation-licensed camp instructors are stationed on-site to assist.

Tips

This is a paid facility that requires the campground's usage fee (either overnight stay or day camp) to use. Be sure to check the amount in advance on the official website's pricing list. Since this is a natural river, the water volume and current change after rain. Follow the day's weather and the on-site staff's guidance. The stones on the riverbed can be slippery, so water shoes are reassuring. A parent or guardian must always accompany children, never let them out of your sight. As a rule you should take your trash home with you.

Best time to visit

Entering the water from around 14:00, the sunlight warms it slightly, and you can play at a relaxed pace for two and a half hours until evening.
