About this spot

One of the representative waterfalls of Suki, Kobayashi City, its white cascade through the deep forest makes a striking impression. The area around the plunge pool is covered by trees, and the breeze blowing down stays refreshingly cool even in midsummer, making it a perfect spot for a morning stroll. In the quiet setting where only the sound of water striking rock echoes, even children naturally lower their voices and become absorbed in watching. It's a fitting starting point for this course, letting you sense where the river water you'll play in that afternoon comes from.

Tips

Viewing is free. The footing on the walking path and observation deck can be damp and slippery, so wear non-slip shoes like sneakers. Please only view the falls from the observation deck and do not go down to the riverbed. As the road passes through mountains, drive carefully and watch for oncoming traffic.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour. When the morning light streams into the valley, the water spray sparkles beautifully.
