Flow of the course
About this spot
This arcade shopping street extends from the north side of Hanshin Amagasaki Station (阪神尼崎駅), and together with the neighboring Sanwa and Deyashiki shopping streets, it runs for about 2 kilometers in total. Restaurants and everyday-goods stores line the street, letting you feel the downtown energy as you walk. It's also known as a shopping street famous for cheering on the Hanshin Tigers, and is talked about for signature events such as the Japan's Fastest Magic Number Lighting Ceremony (日本一早いマジック点灯式), which displays the team's magic number toward a championship. Being an arcade, it's easy to walk through on rainy or hot days, and families can enjoy strolling while snacking and shopping along the way.
Tips
You can walk through the arcade out of the sun, making it convenient for getting around during the hot hours of summer.
