Nagahama Park
Flow of the course
About this spot
A park with a bird sanctuary centered on a brackish-water pond, where the highlights of autumn foliage are the Japanese maples, trident maples, and Chinese tallow trees. The colors typically last from October through December, so it's enjoyable to visit again and again throughout the season. There are four observation huts, and peeking through the small windows lets you quietly watch waterbirds such as ducks. Being able to enjoy both autumn foliage and birdwatching in one place is what makes this park special. Parking is also available.
