A winter tradition in Ebina City, in which the station-front roundabout and promenade around Ebina Station are wrapped in light. For the 2026 season, Ebina City has officially announced that it will be held as 'Reiwa 8 Ebina Illumination (EBINA CITY LIGHTS 2026)' from Sunday, November 1, 2026 to Sunday, February 14, 2027. In past years the venues have included the East Exit station-front roundabout, the West Exit promenade, and Ebina Central Park, and the 2026 venues will be announced once decided. Please check the official website before heading out for details such as lighting hours and viewing fees.

Tips

Since the venue is around the station, it's also easy to get around with a stroller, and you can warm up inside commercial facilities when it gets cold. The time right after the lights come on is easiest for families to move around in.

Best time to visit

Evening, right after the lights come on. The hours when a blue tinge still remains in the sky make for a beautiful contrast with the city lights
