This is a winter tradition at Hotel New Grand, a classic hotel that opened in 1927. The Garden of Light in the main building's courtyard wraps the trees in light, and Christmas tree decorations appear in the Tower Wing's first-floor lobby. It usually runs from mid-November through early March; last year it ran from November 15, 2025 to March 1, 2026 (with the Christmas decorations up until December 25). Viewing is free (the 2026-27 schedule and lighting hours have not yet been announced, so please check the official information).

Tips

Since this is viewed inside the hotel's building and courtyard, enjoying it quietly is good manners. The main building's grand staircase and lobby are also worth seeing, so take your time to admire them as well.

After sunset, the courtyard lights are best once it is dark
