About this spot

An urban park known as Kawasaki City's greatest treasury of greenery. Admission is free, and walking trails through woodlands and wetlands are laid out starting from the East Gate Visitor Center. Facilities such as the Kawasaki Municipal Science Museum and the Japan Open-Air Folk House Museum are gathered within the park, so it is a good idea to pick up a park map at the visitor center first and plan your route for the day.

Tips

The East Gate Visitor Center is open 8:30-17:00. The park has some ups and downs, so if you have a stroller, the paved paths are easier to navigate.

Early afternoon. A pleasant time for a stroll under the dappled sunlight
