About this spot

A mini aquarium planned and run by students, located in the School of Marine Biosciences building on the Kitasato University Sagamihara Campus. It is open 10:00-16:00 on weekends, national holidays, and university-designated commemorative days, and admission is free. The tanks and explanations are crafted from the perspective of students engaged in research, letting you closely observe everything from familiar waterside creatures to marine life. The experience of stepping inside a university is itself a fresh one for children.
