About this spot

A plaza on the Sagami River riverbed at the foot of Takata Bridge. On the vast riverbank you can feel the flow of the river up close, and there are restrooms and parking space. Plenty of river-specific fun awaits, such as picking up stones and looking for waterside creatures. As a preview of the museum you will visit in the afternoon, take a good look at the Sagami River right in front of you.

Tips

Keep an eye on children at the waterside; shoes that can get wet are reassuring. Stay away from the river in bad weather or when the water is high.
