Yamakita Municipal Nakagawa Onsen Buna-no-Yu (山北町立 中川温泉ぶなの湯)

Flow of the course

About this spot

A town-run day-use hot spring at Nakagawa Onsen, deep beyond Lake Tanzawa. Nakagawa Onsen is said to be one of Shingen's hidden hot springs, where Takeda Shingen let his officers and soldiers recuperate, and its alkaline, silky-smooth water has also earned it a reputation as a beautifying bath. It has a large indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a rest room; admission for 2 hours is 750 yen for adults and 450 yen for elementary school age and under (free for children under 4). Warm up in this mountain hot spring before your stargazing.

Tips

Reception closes 1 hour before closing time. Opening hours and closed days vary by season, so check the latest information in the official Yamakita town guide. Bring an extra layer to avoid catching a chill after your bath.

Best time to visit

Early evening. Warm yourself to the core before stargazing
