About this spot
A tourist orchard in Tsubonouchi (坪ノ内), Isehara City, run by a family that has specialized in growing mandarins for over 100 years. Picking generally runs from mid-October to early December each year (as listed in JA Shonan's Isehara City Picking Information). Grown with minimal pesticides and painstaking care, the mandarins offer a flavor unique to Isehara, one of Kanagawa's leading growing areas. At this orchard at the foot of Mt. Tanzawa (丹沢), families can enjoy choosing and harvesting colorful, ripe fruit together.
