About this spot

A station on the Kanazawa Seaside Line and the closest station to Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise (横浜・八景島シーパラダイス). Reach it by transferring to the Seaside Line at Shin-Sugita Station (新杉田駅) or Kanazawa-Hakkei Station (金沢八景駅). Step out of the ticket gate and you'll see the bridge to Hakkeijima Island (八景島) right in front of you, with a pleasant sea breeze. It's also just a short walk to the adjacent Umi-no-Koen (海の公園), making it the starting point for a seaside outing.

Tips

The Seaside Line is a driverless automated transit system, and the view from the front seats is popular with children. Try sitting at the front on the way there.
