A restaurant level spanning the upper floors of Yokohama Sky Building, a high-rise directly connected to Yokohama Station's east exit. There's no separate admission fee just for the view. The idea is to dine at one of the restaurants while taking in views toward Minato Mirai and the lights of Yokohama through the windows. Hours vary by restaurant, but most are open roughly from 11:00 to sometime in the 22:00 hour, with dinner service starting around 17:00. If you arrive before sunset, you can enjoy the transition from evening colors to the night view along with your meal. Prices vary by restaurant, so check when choosing where to eat.

Tips

Window seats are very popular, so a reservation or arriving right when the restaurant opens is recommended. Since it's directly connected to the station, you can head straight home afterward without walking dark streets at night, which is reassuring for families.

Arriving around 17:00. The view through the windows as sunset turns into the night view is the real treat
