About this spot

'Hoshi no Kai' (Star Gathering) is held in the rooftop observation room of Hagi Museum. It takes place every Friday (except on museum closure days), with two sessions: a daytime session from 13:00 to 16:30 and an evening session from 19:30 to 21:00. Free of charge, no reservation required. On cloudy or rainy days, it is changed to an astronomy study session instead.

Tips

Since the evening session takes place after the museum's regular closing time, entry is through the north staff entrance rather than the main entrance (as officially announced). It gets cold outdoors at night, so please bring warm clothing.
