About this spot

A plaza park on the south side of Miyazukayama, the highest peak on Toshima Island. With a view selected as one of the New Top 100 Views of Tokyo, on clear moonless nights you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. On clear days you can even see as far as Niijima and Miyakejima.

Season & hours

Tips

It is far from the village, so traveling by car is recommended. The ground underfoot is dark, so bring a flashlight.

After sunset, on nights with little moonlight
