About this spot

A science museum operated by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, themed around maps and surveying. Outside is a large 21.5m-diameter model of the Earth called 'Chikyu Hiroba' (Earth Plaza).

Tips

Admission is free. Opening hours are 9:30-16:30 (admission until 16:00), closed every Monday (or the following day if Monday is a public holiday), and also closed over the New Year holidays (Dec 28-Jan 3).
