About this spot

A roadside station (michi-no-eki) located at 32 Yoshida Hisanaga, Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. This exhibition hall introduces “Ryusei,” a handmade rocket tradition passed down in the Chichibu region, and displays full-size Ryusei models along with the manufacturing process. Open 9:00-16:30, closed Tuesdays (or the following day if Tuesday is a holiday). Admission is 350 yen for adults and 200 yen for children.

Tips

You can enjoy Chichibu's local specialties at the neighboring Ryusei Chaya tea house. Note that exhibits cannot be viewed on the closed day (Tuesday).
