A limited-time starry-sky viewing event held on the rooftop observation deck of Nishihotakaguchi Station (elevation 2,156m), reached via the second section of the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway. You can enjoy the starry sky spreading above the ridgeline of the Northern Alps.

Tips

In 2026, it operates on 18 designated days between October 2 and November 8 (autumn service). Fare is 4,000 yen for adults and 2,150 yen for children (including the special-fare ticket); advance tickets on the official website, same-day tickets at the ticket machines or counter. The last descent from Nishihotakaguchi Station is by 21:00 (subject to change depending on the season). Only a limited viewing area is accessible, and the first ropeway section does not operate at night. Be sure to check operating dates and reservation availability on the official website.
