About this spot

A star watching session led by a local starry-sky guide from around Ashibetsu. The first 30 minutes are an indoor lecture, and in the second 30 minutes, weather permitting, you observe the actual night sky on the rooftop star terrace or the park golf course next to the hotel. Held every night from 20:00 to 21:00, capacity 30 people (first-come, first-served).

Tips

The fee is 1,200 yen for adults, free for elementary school children and younger. Advance reservation is only possible when combined with a hotel booking through the official website; otherwise, registration is first-come, first-served at the front desk on the day. Since part of it is outdoors, dress warmly.

Best time to visit

Right at the 20:00 start time. Since it is capacity-limited, early registration is recommended.
