About this spot

A stargazing event hosted by the Ogata Village Land Reclamation Museum. Held in October as the “Autumn Moon and Autumn Starry Sky Stargazing Event,” starting at 19:00, free of charge with no application required. The meeting point is the entrance plaza of Ogata Village Ecosystem Park, and members of the Akita Hoshikko no Kai (Star Club) will guide the event. It is postponed in case of rain or overcast skies, and whether it is postponed, along with the new date, is announced on the Land Reclamation Museum's official website.
