An ancient temple with 1,300 years of history. Its approach is lined with cedar trees designated a national natural monument, and it has a Nio Gate (Deva Gate) that is an Important Cultural Property. It is in the same Hoorai-san area as Aichi Prefectural Forest.
Tips
There are over 1,400 stone steps up to the main hall. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
