About this spot

An observation hall equipped with a large 80cm-aperture telescope, located within the Minami-Rokuroshi area, certified as a Dark Sky Reserve(R). The weekend stargazing session is free and held from 19:00-21:00 during October-March (suspended in January and February). No reservation is needed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

If visiting on a weekday, a reservation is required up to one week in advance. The stargazing session is suspended in January and February, so avoid visiting during that period.
