About this spot

A plateau at an elevation of about 500m spreading across the foot of Mt. Kyogatake in the eastern Ono Basin. It has been certified by the Ministry of the Environment's 'National Stargazing Continuous Observation' program as having 'the most beautiful starry sky in Japan.'
