About this spot

A nighttime gondola program operated by Miyagi Zao Eboshi Resort. It takes you up to the summit of the Ishiko ski slope, about 1,100m above sea level, where you can view the city lights and a sky full of stars. There is also commentary from stargazing volunteers and observation through astronomical telescopes (according to the facility official website).

Tips

Reservation required, minimum of 15 participants. Admission is 2,800 yen for adults and 2,200 yen for children (free for preschoolers). May be cancelled due to weather, with the decision made around 15:00.
