About this spot

A lodge on a highland over 800m in elevation, about 40 minutes by car from Ryotsu Port of Sado Kisen. Known as a treasure trove of alpine plants and wildflowers, it is also the starting point for Mt. Donden (ドンデン山), selected as one of the 100 Famous Flower Mountains, and the Osado Ridge Trekking Course. The operating season is usually mid-April to early November.
