Flow of the course

About this spot

An observation park on a hilltop overlooking the Yonezawa Basin and the Azuma Mountain Range. The night view of downtown Yonezawa spreads out below, and since it faces east, it is also known as a sunrise-viewing spot. It has been selected as a viewpoint in “Yamagata Keikan Monogatari.”

Tips

The parking lot has space for only 6 vehicles, and large vehicles cannot park. Since the roads are narrow with many curves, it's recommended to arrive while it's still light out, before it gets dark. There is little street lighting, so bring a flashlight.
