勝浦町星谷にある岩屋で、四国霊場の番外札所として古くから信仰されてきた場所です。岩壁から流れ落ちる水の裏側に回り込める造りになっていて、裏見の滝とも呼ばれます。薄暗い岩屋の中から見上げる水の帯と、岩に反響する水音が独特の雰囲気をつくります。周囲は深い緑に包まれ、夏でもひんやりとした空気が流れています。これから向かう井戸端みかん園と同じ星谷にあります。
Tips
岩場と水しぶきで足元が滑りやすい場所です。手すりを使い、ゆっくり進みましょう。
