山陽新幹線とJR山陽本線・山口線が乗り入れる山口市の玄関口です。県内各地へ向かう交通の結節点で、駅には売店や飲食店がそろっており、出発前の準備がしやすくなっています。瀬戸内海に面した秋穂地区へは、ここから南へ車で向かうのが基本ルートです。

秋穂方面へは車での移動が基本です。農園は必ず予約が必要なので、出かける前に済ませておきましょう。
