JR山陽本線と小野田線が乗り入れる山陽小野田市の駅です。かつてセメントや化学工業で栄えた町の駅で、周防灘に近い平地の中に位置しています。有帆や高畑といった市内各地へは、ここから車で向かうのが基本ルートです。

ぶどう園へは駅から車での移動になります。9月は1日・8日・15日が定休日なので、日程に注意しましょう。
