京阪石山坂本線の終点駅で、石山寺参拝の玄関口です。駅から南へ徒歩約10分で石山寺の東大門に着きます。駅前には土産物店や飲食店が並び、参拝前の身支度にも便利です。
Tips
駅から東大門までは瀬田川沿いの道をまっすぐ南へ。紅葉シーズンの週末は駅も混み合うので、午前の早めの時間に動くのがおすすめです。
