宮島にある紅葉の名所で、イロハカエデ約560本・オオモミジ約100本・ウリハダカエデ等約40本、合わせて約700本のカエデが植わっています。見頃は例年11月中旬〜下旬。歩いて行ける距離に大聖院があり、あわせて紅葉をめぐるコースの起点になります。
