Toyako Lake Pleasure Cruise and Usui Mountain Ropeway - A Tour of Lake and Volcano
Enjoy the grand scenery created by lake and volcano to your heart's content from a pleasure cruise and ropeway on a full day around Toyako Lake. First, take in a panoramic view of the lake with Nakashima Island floating in it from Silo Observatory, then take a castle-like pleasure boat from the pier on the lake shore for a lakeside stroll. In the afternoon, tour Showa Shinzan, born from a wheat field, and the bear farm where you can meet Ezo brown bears skilled at begging for treats, then finish with the Usui Mountain Ropeway for a grand panorama at the summit. As the different modes of transport turn the journeys themselves into enjoyment, the walking distance is modest. This is a course where three-generation families with grandparents can relax and fully appreciate the experience.
