2026 Sanuki City Tsuda Matsuri Fireworks Festival Full-Day Course
This course puts the Sanuki City Tsuda Matsuri Fireworks Festival, held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at its center, letting you fully enjoy the sea and nature of eastern Kagawa Prefecture over the course of a day. During the day, stroll through Tsuda no Matsubara, a scenic spot celebrated even in the Man'yoshu, an ancient anthology of Japanese poetry, and savor the sight of white sand and green pines along with the sea breeze of the Seto Inland Sea. In the afternoon, take a leisurely tour of local flavors and products at Michi-no-Eki Nagao, and in the evening, cool off in the pine woods of Kinrin Prefectural Park while waiting for the show to start. Once the sun sets, fireworks launch into the night sky right in front of the pine grove and beach, spreading a band of light across the calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea. Combining the pine grove of the Man'yoshu era with fireworks over the Seto Inland Sea, this is a summer day plan unique to Sanuki City.
