2026 Ino Town Citizens Festival Niyodo River Festival Summer Evening Fireworks Grand Celebration - Full-Day Experience Course
A full-day course enjoying all of Ino Town (いの町) and the surrounding Niyodo River area (仁淀川エリア) from daytime, with the Ino Town Citizens Festival Niyodo River Festival Summer Evening Fireworks Grand Celebration held on August 2 (Sunday), 2026 as the main event. In Ino Town, located on the banks of the Niyodo River, also known as "Japan's Last Clear Stream," experience the history of the paper town and abundant nature. In the afternoon, enjoy sightseeing at the paper museum unique to the Tosa washi production area, and spend a leisurely time taking the cool air in parks along the clear stream. In the evening, grab a bite at riverside food stalls and shops, and secure a spot at Hane Park and the Niyodo River bed. The spectacular view of approximately 1,200 fireworks lighting up the water surface of the Niyodo River is the summer night scenery only possible where the clear stream and fireworks come together. It's a plan where the whole family can fully savor the cool summer of Kochi with a pleasant river breeze.
