2026 Ranshima Beach Full Day Course

This is a full-day course centered on Ranshima Beach (蘭島海水浴場), which opens from July 10 (Friday) to August 23 (Sunday) 2026 in Otaru City, visiting landmarks in Yoichi Town before enjoying the sea. In the morning, families will visit the Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery (ニッカウヰスキー余市蒸溜所), where the aroma of whiskey drifts, and tour the charming grounds lined with red brick distillery buildings and storage warehouses. At noon, take a break at Michi no Eki Space Apple Yoichi (道の駅 スペース・アップルよいち), recognizable by its apple-shaped building, where you can enjoy soft serve ice cream and local specialties made with locally-produced fruits. Once you've filled your stomach, head to Ranshima Beach. The white sandy shores and gentle waves spreading across western Otaru are a popular spot for family beach outings. Swimming is free, and facilities include flush toilets and temporary restrooms, so families with small children can feel at ease.
