A one-day course centered around Shobutas Beach in Shichinohe Town, Miyagi Prefecture, which opens from July 11 (Saturday) to August 23 (Sunday), 2026, with swimming hours from 9 AM to 4 PM. In the morning, start leisurely at Shichinohe International Village, a cultural facility on a high ground overlooking the Pacific Ocean, feeling the sea breeze, and then visit Shiogama Shrine to pray for safe travels. At noon, head to Shiogama Market next to Shiogama Port, where you can fill your stomach with fresh seafood bowls and sushi made with the day's catch. After satisfying your hunger, it's time to head to Shobutas Beach. Swimming is free, and the beach is equipped with food stalls, restrooms, lifeguard stands, and first aid stations, providing peace of mind for families. With parking for approximately 500 vehicles available, visiting by car is also convenient. From water play at the shoreline to building sandcastles, you can fully enjoy the summer sea before evening.
